1) To get my website to the way I like it. This means having headers across the top such as ‘Stories’, ‘Poems’ etc to make my site easier to navigate.
2) To connect more with other users of WordPress.
3) To keep focused on getting published – for the first time I have sent a story off to an author to be proofread.
Good luck to everybody else doing the course
Thank you, and same to you! Keep up the awesome blogging!
Thanks a lot, I hope February is a good blogging month for you too
I like “keep focused on getting published” that gets lost in my day to day for sure! Good luck!
Thanks, Jeanne. I’m finding that WordPress is a good way to keep focused as well. Before being on here I just had stories and ideas, and I wasn’t sure enough at putting them out. Good luck too!
Good luck to you! Have you decided where/what you would like to publish?
Hi, thanks a lot. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog – loads of good stuff to learn. I’m focusing on writing fantasy/horror stories and poems. I’ve just sent some work to an author for editing. I think it will be a good move as they may mentor me a bit too.
Thank you. You are very lucky to have a mentor. Mine is a professor I had in undergrad. Good luck, again, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. My former career was in media and public relations.
Thank you, that’s really kind of you to offer. I heard back from my mentor today. I think her editing will make a really useful template for my future stories.
